Linda’s surprise proposal 3: a humorous story on stroke

Dr. O.

……Continued from episode 2.
“Woah!” Linda screamed almost running into a car in front of them. “ Easy babe are you trying to get us killed” Kola shouted. “Maybe”, she muttered under her breath as she pulled up in front of his house.

“You’re home now, I guess it’s time for you to get down before you get killed.”

“Relax babe” he smiled “Its 4pm”

“And so what? “She asked rolling her eyes. “Turn on the radio, your favorite show should be starting now. ” “I don’t want to listen to radio”, she snapped back.

He leaned forward and turned on the radio, almost immediately, the radio presenter’s voice came bursting through the speakers…..”Hi guys, welcome to the love song request show, our first song dedication today goes out to Linda Oni, and it’s called ‘marry me’ by Train, Linda if you’re listening, this is for you from Kole, please say Yes”

Linda could not believe her ears, she literally froze in her seat as the words of the song began to serenade the car. Kole immediately got down and walked over to Linda’s side of the car, opening the door gently, he got down on one knee and stretched out his hand to reveal an open ring box he was holding.

With her eyes filled with tears, she looked up to see the most beautiful ring she had ever set her eyes on staring back at her with the man of her dreams holding it in his hands.

“Ever since the day I met you, I knew I wanted to spend forever with you, I want to be the last you see before you go to sleep and the first you see when you wake up each morning, I want to share every moment with you , I can’t wait to call you Mrs. Daniels, will you be my wife? Please say yes” he said staring into her eyes .
Tears ran down Linda’s face, she got out of the car, pulled him up, gave him a long, deep kiss and said “yes I will, I can’t wait to spend forever with you”.
